UKSH Kiel: new Postdoc position

Dear all,

for my new group in Kiel, I am looking for a highly motivated post doc. Scientific work will focus on B and plasma cells obviously dealing with long-lived, memory plasma cells in health and disease.
The project will involve a translational part by looking for the role of these subsets in humans, in various situations of health and disease. The project will use a combination of molecular and cellular approaches.
As the group and lab are just building up, the post doc will also have a prominent role in organizing the whole setup.
He/she should hold a PhD, having an expertise in flow cytometry, microscopy and cell biology.
The post-doc candidate should have a strong track record in the field of cellular immunology or molecular biology. Expertise in experimental models of autoimmunity is highly welcome.

Kiel is a perfect surrounding for Inflammation Research as there is a huge excellence cluster on inflammation research based in Kiel and the department of rheumatology is supposed to play a major part in this setting!
In addition, the work life balance is great due to the fact that the baltic sea is at the front door!

Anyone interested: please feel free to get in contact by sending a CV, a brief outline of previous research and contact details of three references.

Looking forward to your applications!

All the best, Bimba
